Night Hike on Rolling Hills Trail

We had our first night hike of the year on Nov 20. We hiked from Dougherty Station library to Six Pillars park and back on the Rolling Hills trail. It was 3.6 miles round trip with an elevation gain of 220 ft. Mr Shane reviewed the safety guidelines for a night hike and then we were off. It was a nice cool evening for the hike. Pack Bike Hike along Iron Horse Trail

We had our annual bike hike, riding as a pack from San Ramon City Hall north along Iron Horse Trail. This is a great opportunity to get some exercise, but also to learn about road safety, rules of the road, and how to share a trail that is used by walkers, runners, and cyclists. Officers from San Ramon Police Department joined us to talk through road safety, we then checked on our Six Essentials, before starting our hike. Some scouts made it all the way to downtown Danvile, while others stopped a bit sooner. We all returned to San Ramon

Muslim Community Center Visit and Hike

Pack 996 took a short hike and visited a Muslim Community Center.  There, Scouts, parents, and siblings watched a prayer session, had lunch, took a tour, and learned about the Muslim religion.   Later, Scouts played at the park.

November Hike – Black Diamond Mines
