Every year, Pack 996 partners with Quail Run Elementary to tie up Red Ribbons along the perimeter of the school in commemoration of Red Ribbon Week. When the week is over, we untie the ribbons and also clean up trash around the school. This year, we had a huge storm pass through the Bay Area right when we wanted to tie ribbons! Rather than reschedule, we chose to come prepared for the wet weather in our raincoats, snow jackets, umbrellas, and anything to protect us from gusting winds. We didn’t get to spend as much time as usual on this activity this year, but we still had a blast in the wet weather!
