Did you think Cub Scouts was only for boys? In a historic move in 2017, the Boy Scouts of America unanimously approved a plan to welcome girls into all Scouting programs. Starting in 2018, the Boy Scouts of America is first opening up the Cub Scouts program to girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Cub Scout Pack 996 which currently primarily consists of families with boys attending Quail Run Elementary would like to gauge interest in families with daughters who would like to join the Cub Scouts program.
