Troop 805

Welcome to the Troop 805 family of Scouts and parents! We pride ourselves on being a “boy run” troop, which means that most of the activities are planned and carried out by the boys. This may not always be the fastest or easiest way to get things done, but it teaches the boys responsibility and gives them the satisfaction of a job well done. They receive the credit and praise for their successful endeavors, and on the occasion when things don’t go as well as planned, the boys get the benefit of learning from their mistakes.

We are Troop 236, based in Danville, California in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area. We offer an excellent, “boy led” program with trained adult leadership and guidance. Our goal is to deliver the hands-on experience of leadership training through a world-class venue that combines high adventure opportunities (such as 50 Milers, Sea Base sailing expeditions, Philmont treks, and Northern Tier High Adventure Base canoe trips) with a deep respect for community, country, and the environment. We all share great pride in our strong 62 year history of teaching leadership skills to boys. Our 170+ Eagle Scout alumni share this pride with us!

Hi! We’re glad you are here! To join Troop 60 you must be 11 years old or have completed 5th grade. If you are a Cub Scout you can begin joining Troop 60 activities once you have completed the requirements of Arrow of Light even if this is before the Bridging Ceremony. To join Troop 60 you must schedule and have a Scoutmaster Conference and earn the rank of Scout. Scoutmaster conferences usually take approximately 30 minutes and are normally conducted at the Scoutmaster’s home. After you have the Scoutmaster Conference and are awarded the rank of Scout you may join the troop activities and meetings.

Welcome to Troop 36. We are a Boy Scout troop based in Danville, California. We were founded in 1969 by our sponsor, St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church. We have an extensive outdoor program based on the Boy Scouts’ Outdoor Code. We typically have an activity occurring nearly every weekend. Every year we go on several pre-Camporee events to prepare new scouts for the Council’s Camporee event. We attend a week-long session at Camp Wolfeboro. Older scouts have the option of attending a week long camp on Catalina Island. And our oldest and most adventurous scouts can attend a yearly High Adventure trip to places like Philmont Scout Camp, the John Muir Trail, and National Parks in Alaska. Throughout the year, we have weekend outings such as Caving, Snow Camping, Wilderness Survival, Biking, and Motor Boating.

BSA Troop 1776 and Ship 1776 San Ramon, CA. Established April 6th, 2000

It’s no coincidence that we chose the year of our country’s founding as our identifying Scout unit numbers. Troop 1776 & Ship 1776 are patriotic Scouting organizations that work to promote citizenship and the principles our country was founded on. The troop has grown steadily since its inception, with just 5 Scouts. We are proud to have awarded 12 young men the rank of Eagle Scout: Keith Herrington, Geoy Thomas, Phil Duddy, Aatif Rashid, Alex Nicholson, Paul Pinson, Alexander Chiang, Scott Herrington, Alfred Bru, Abhi Illandra, Timothy Hoffman and Will Duran. Our boys love to have fun and today the troop ranges between 27-33 active Scouts.
